So, the 72 Dolphins were great, but the 85 Bears are the greatest team of all time?

Update:

I will grant you all that the 89 Niners vs. 85 Bears would be a battle for the ages, but... **** did not work against the Bears D. By the way the Bears had the Superbowl margin of victory record before the 89 Niners broke it. The Bears stopped playing in the 4th quarter.

Update 2:

Sorry but the Dolphins played the 3rd weakest schedule in NFL history. They played teams with an average winning percentage of like .400. They have the weakest strength of schedule of any team to ever play in a Superbowl.

    Rocky Marciano was great, but Ali was the GOAT.

    With this, the greatest team is the 85 Bears. 21-0, 24-0 and 46-10. Shutouts are tough to get in the regular season, rare in the postseason, back to back shutouts in the playoffs is unheard of. Sure the 89 niners scored 55 pts in their superbowl, but the bears slowed down the game in the 4th quarter in theirs and they were more of a running team. Plus, the 89 niners had 2 loses in the regular season compared to the 85 bears 1 loss.

    Bears by a slim margin.

    I am a Cowboy fan for the ages and the 93 Cowboys were unbelievable, but I would not bet a dime on the game if they had to face the 85 Bears.

    The 89 49ers were the best they won the super bowl 55-10 and really it was 55-3

    89 Niners or the 93 Cowboys. I think both were better.

    I think for a team to be the greatest of all time, in any sport, they need to at least win their championship that year.

    85 dolphins beat 85 Bears. Quite Soundly..there is no superlative for being perfect.It's not Miami's fault who they played on their schedule.
