Years ago, in my late teens I moved to Texas from Illinois. There were foods I never even realized existed ! Like okra, greens, hominy & black eyed peas. In Texas when they would say peas, they meant black eyed peas. In the midwest peas meant green. In Texas, if they were meaning green, they would say "English " peas. They used a lot more pepper in Texas too. Also white or cream gravy, where in Illinois I never saw white gravy. Chicken Fried steak was another new food to me. In the midwest we used a lot more Ketchup and in Texas more mustard. In the midwest we always called soft drinks "pop". In the south they call everything coke, whether it is Dr. Pepper, sprite etc... In the south much more food is fried. Also they use quite a bit more sugar in their baked goods. Veggies were often cooked with bacon or ham in the south, never had that growing up in the midwest. I grew to love the southern food, after a time of getting used to it. Good luck with your class :)

i think of of it particularly is in uncomplicated words a humorous correlation and not a causality. The financial device is very autonomous from a "state" or possibly the electorate in a state. in spite of if, California is a blue state (Obama-majority), in spite of if it grew to alter into into ruled by making use of Schwarzenegger: California had between the biggest crashs and has maximum inhabitants: It has an surprising form of result on the learn. What i % to declare is that politics on the on the spot are actually not that uncomplicated, even the civil conflict has even with the undeniable fact that impacts on the financial growth in North and in South, it particularly is not efficient to look on one among those short term progression. I don´t think of of that Democrats are lazy or something like that ...

Well I live in a midwestern state and we always put pasta in our chili (macaroni or spaghetti) here. I understand most other states don't do that. Hope that helps! (the state I live in is Indiana)

not sure where you are in midwest but I know in Iowa we don't eat grits ...which is really sad since we grow corn...
