Can You Help Me Get The Perfect Anniversary Present?

Question

My boyfriend was in the U.S. Marines several years ago and lost his dog tags in an accident. He's shared with me several times how sad he is that he no longer has them as a memento.

I would like to get them re-created for him for our anniversary in March. I don't even know if that's possible, but I also don't know how to go about finding out more information on this. I can't find a general "contact us" email link on the Marine website (you can contact them, but only for more information about joining). 

Please help!

Yes, you can get them made. But not by the military. Civilian companies make re-productions that are just like the real thing.

Just do a web search for "Dog Tags".  I lost mine and had a copy made several years ago at a flea market of all places

***One side note, I would not give out his Social Security Number, as that would be risky..

if you know anyone with U.S. Marine dog tags you can ask them whats on them  ...if you don't know anyone... you could go to a VFW and ask there to find out the information you will need to put on the tag ....  hope this helps :o)

look up Dog Tags on the www.uscav.com website.  They'll make dogtags for you if you have all the right information.
