Koh Samed is really nice, and not too big. It has white sand beached, and really nice resorts. You have to take a small boat to get there. Lots of activities, or just chill on the beach. Im goin back first chance I get!!

If cost is not a consideration, one of my mates got married at Koyao Island Resort. It is on an Island (Ko Yao) near Phang Nga Bay. The resort is absolutely spectacular, but as I was a guest, I can not tell you much about the price. All I can do is email you the photos if you like. If you tell me what nationalities are getting married, I can give you a better idea of what to expect. A Thai/Thai wedding will differ from a Thai/ Farang wedding, and a Thai/ Farang wedding will differ from a Farang/ Farang wedding.
I honeymooned in Krabi, I think there are a few very nice resorts there, and I know there is a spectacular resort in Koh Chang as well. I would recommend those two islands because the islands are beautiful. Decide what island you want to marry on, then line up the resort. While food and accomodations are cheap in Thailand, resorts are still a fair bit pricier than other accomodations.
