Will the Microsoft/Yahoo! deal end up making Yahoo! a pay-to-use site?

Yahoo! was the first email site many years ago and is still my primary. I've read now that Microsoft may have to have a loan to seal the deal with Yahoo! purchase. Do you think that Yahoo! may turn in to a pay-to-use site like AOL when the deal is done?

doubt it--if yahoo goes to pay to use then there will be others ready to offer free service--lot of ad revenue at stake here

If it does turn out that way the charges will be more subtle. MS would offer features (such as movies) that only work if you have Vista Vivveee Vew. And, of course, if you want Vista Vivvee Vew, one must have Vista Genuine Authenticated Service pack number 42, English Language or Service pack number 87 for other Languages not related to Western ISO-Latin. Which in turn will morph the internet into Son-Of-AOL. That is, only Americans will be willing to purchase legit copies of Windows.

Vista has a street price of $7 in countries outside the US of A.

i haven't been around here that long, regardless of if it style of feels customarily effective! And the reporting equipment looks somewhat valuable. besides whats the component of sensoring 'undesirable' perspectives, to make a rounded end, you like the solid and undesirable. in case you propose undesirable as in irrelevent, then yeah, a paid internet site could ward off pointless q's/a's, regardless of if it does not inevitably stop the die-complicated weirdos!
