Congratulations to Patriots and Giants fans, but can we all just get along?

Question

Being a neutral I would like to say. 
-For the Patriots fans congratulations for having the best season of your franchise and reaching 18 games without a loss
-For the Giants congratulations on your incredible victory!
 Yes, lot of Pats fans were getting really cocky, arrogant, and overconfident before the SB and you all have proved your points to them, however, I think some fans are getting way too carried away and down right really abusive to a point which you felt was wrong when the PATs fans were doing it in the past. I think rivaly is great but taking it too personal or revenge I feel is unnecessary and just causing hatred between two groups of great fans.   Does two wrong make it right?

Fans of the other NFL teams are also viewing your conducts  to the Patriots fans.
Your team has won and the game has been long over. So let`s just enjoy and move on. 
 
Last note-Remember Belichick is also the one who has also helped with your first 2 rings.

Good ... I believe you should be joined by more on this site that are level headed ... 
I am not sure of the arrogant or cocky fans people speak of .. I watched the Bowl @ a friends house .. approx 40 people .. had a HD projector outside shown on garage wall 4'x8' picture and surround sound .. temp was about 35F, and we had a blazing fire .. I smoked a prime rib & 2 chickens ... an awesome time with all these Pats fans .. 
When the game ended, there was a lull, and disappointed fans, but everyone spoke well of the Giants and their deserving a victory, also was the questions of some coaching moves/game plans that did not occur ... I must live & hang w/the best people in the world ..oops .. we had a few Giant fans and there was respect all around .. ah hah ! now there was 1 individual that was an a%#hole about it ... that must be someone you know .. sorry
We lit off fireworks and talked about next season ..
Hey everyone ... CHILL and respect the game .. cheer your team .. always tell me why your team is better (and try not to be arrogant and take cheap shots on my team) 
It's a sport .. fun .. enjoy what you can .. savor the flavor (I am still thinking Prime Rib)  lol

Welcome to the internet, as great as it can be sometimes to have a good conversation with people from around the world, there is a problem, TROLLS.  I love YA but there are way too many people from each team that just mouth off on here and cannot have a logical well thought out discussion, it is why I stopped coming on here for a while, I was sick of watching people just talk trash and have no reason to back up any arguement they made.  It is the typical message board syndrome.  I am a Pats fan and I was watching a lot of "Pats fans" on here giving true fans a bad name, now I am watching a lot of people gunning at Pats fans like we all were cocky jerks.  It would be a lot better if people knew how to have a civilized logical debae on here without personal attacks, sadly there will always be trolls.

Yes it would be nice. BUT, after bragging on their team and how nobody can beat them, the Pats. fans deserve to face the reality. "DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE DONE UNTO YOU" They don't like it when it comes back their way. If they wouldn't have hyped up everybody during the season, it wouldn't have been such a big deal now. ********* and arrogance doesn't help your team on the field. I'm not a fan of either team, but I got soooo tired of hearing how perfect the Pats. were that I turned against them as well as many other people. Yes, both teams and the haters fans go over board now , but Its not going to stop any time soon. Now the Pats. fans want peace, after they acted the way they did for months, they should be prepared to take their loss too. If they didn't care how they made people feel, why should we care now?

sorry, this is a great idea, i tried to be nice before the Superbowl, i even took time to offer congrats after, but people still intend to get personal, and I for one, refuse to take it anymore.
other than the fact that i am a patriots fan, others don't know much about me, and don't have the right to use name calling as a weapon.
your a great person for trying, but there is to much immaturity on here.

Didn't read this whole thing...sorry, ADD kicked in...however, why get along?  Half the fun of NFL is rivalry.  Giving the other side a hard time...and then getting it back....is fun!  This coming from a Steelers fan living in Browns town.  Football wouldn't be what it is but for the rivalry bickering.   Good times....good times.

It's all in fun.  Smack talking between rivals is a part of football.  Some people get carried away, but such is life.  It's just Yahoo Answers, if it's a major aspect of anyones life then they have more problems then having to read other peoples garbage.
