I love both dogs and cats.....?

and go to both the dog and cat sides, and I was wondering if anyone has noticed that the questions on the dogs side seem more intelligent than that of the cat side?

Update:

i seen a few questions on the cat side this morning that were just weird like "do you think my cat wants to eat my face?"

Ive seen some weird questions over here too..

things like "is it cheaper to get my dog spayed, or neutered?"

and "what kind of dog would I get if I bred "x" breed with "y" breed?"

I only have cats and a parrot, but that will be changing soon. I'm getting a puppy in a few months, so I go through either sections. I know a lot bout cats and more than I realize about dogs, but I don't notice a difference in intellegence of the questions on either side. Either side has good questions, stupid questions and infuriating questions. You know, "should I take my pet to the vet". ya, that falls into the catagory of "DUH!". So there are a good number of all kinds of questions on either side. I haven't seen any questions regarding Walking Stick bugs though. Maybe those owners have chosen a real site with people that really know about those critters? And ferrets! Are ferret owners more knowledgable than cat and dog owners, so less questions turn up here? Who's to know? I can hardly wait to get my puppy.

Source(s): 44 years of animal companionship. Currently owned by 3 cats, a parrot and some walking stick bugs.

before everything, think of with regards to the time and the attention each could wish. The canine could be a miles significant other, watch canine, chum, exciting to play with yet on an identical time alot greater ordinary jobs comprise it. Vets costs, on a normal basis walks, and how a lot time are you able to spend coaching the canine? appropriate breaking and coaching can get high priced, make advantageous your puppy is nicely worth it an you have the staying power. The cat is especially quiet, can help shop pests out of your domicile, could be a chum or significant other, in ordinary terms coaching it needs is to be domicile broke to apply a kitty potty field. Vet costs are often greater decrease priced, they are much less complicated to maintain than a canine. in basic terms what ever you decide on for, make advantageous it extremely is what you particularly need and characteristic time for. Too many human beings %. pets and the puppy finally leads to shelters, some in no way be accompanied, or is placed to sleep. be sure you have the room for this puppy you decide on for, and if would desire to you may desire to bypass away for any length of time, a kennel or a chum can examine your puppy on a normal basis till you come back domicile.

Yes I have. I think it's because cats are more wild than a dog, and people just don't understand this. Also, the general public is more familiar with how a dog acts, and why it acts a certain way.

    That's my two cents :)

  • i think cats are so independant alot of people take less notice of them. i have 5 dogs and 2 cats. i always know where every 1 of my dogs are and what they're doing. but often have to go searching for my house cats to see what they're doing. especially my 16 yr old cat.

I dont think the questions are more intelligent, I just think that cats are more independent...feed them, scratch them now and then and clean their boxes and they are happy. Dogs require alot of time and training and I dont think alot of people realize this when they get a dog....
