How do you get "Top Contributor"?

You don't need to be confused as I will explain this for you.

You get to be top contributor by answering alot of questions in one category. A person can aim up to 3 categories

The choice or choices of categories for you is yours.

You need to answer 45 - 50 questions in a 30 day period and it would take a month to 6 weeks.

You need to have 10% or more of best answers from your category or categories.

There is no magic level for becoming a top contributor this means any one from any level can become a top contributor.

Once you get your top contributor badge you need to remain active in this community or it can be taken away from you.

People become top contributors everyday so again there is no specified day for becoming a top contributor.

Be polite when answering questions

The Yamster is the only person who know the actual requirements to become a Top Contributor.

As far as we (Yahoo! Answers Community) know, you need to be active in a particular category. Rumors say answer 45 questions 30 days in that category and have a minimum of 10% of those answers chosen as the best. You will become a Top Contributor if you do all that and you will get the badge on a Monday morning. (PST).

No one knows the exact formula but you must post a given number of answers in a category and have a percentage of best answers to get the TC badge.

I've heard 45 questions in a category in 30 days and 10% Best Answers but I don't know that this is accurate. Only Yamster knows for sure ;) You can achieve TC in up to 3 categories.
