Hair DOES NOT grow longer or thicker with any product, coconut oil or anything else. Your hair grows half an inch each month and that is the way it is. Your hair type is determined by your genetic culture but yes, there are products that will topically change the appearance from straight to curly and vice versa. If you damage your hair, it will grow back. Not to worry. Cutting the ends does not help it to grow longer. Hair grows from a follicle through your scalp , fed by blood vessels, oxygen and other nutrients, although the bottom/s need to be trimmed regularly to control split ends. If a hair is split and not trimmed above the split, then the split travels upward causing damage to travel further up. Thickness: You can make hair thicker by bonding synthetic or real hair or make it appear thicker by using products that coat. However no chemical can make it thicker. Frizz: You can reduce Frizz by applying certain anti-frizz products. They do work but once you wash your hair of if the weather is moist, frizz tends to re-appear. Hair straightening irons can straighten temporarily and you will need to spray or apply a protective shield or a straightening agent for it to work. Chemical Straightening products: Japanese or otherwise, there are numerous straightening products available. It is NOT reccommended that you do it yourself. Your scalp will burn if your stylist does not apply vaseline or a protective cream directly on the scalp, forehead, neck and ears. ALL chemicals should NEVER touch the scalp while in action and should be applied at least 1/2 inch away from the scalp. A patch test should ALWAYS be done first to check for allergic or skin reactions. Your regrowth will need to be re-touched once every 6-8 weeks. Nothing is permanent. Bonding: Hair plugs are glued to your hair close to the scalp with a product similar to super glue and cannot be removed unless it is snipped off or soaked in a dissolver. This procedure should first be tried on a small area close to your neckline in order for you to decide to do the whole head which can be very costly especially if you require maintenance. Bleaching/Lightening: This requires strong chemicals especially if you want to lighten dark brown or black hair. Hair has to go through several stages of color removal in order to get the desired shade. Dark hair will first turn Red, then Orange then pass through many stages of yellow to blonde. If you desire a brown shade(light or dark) then you would need to apply a toner over the lighter shade to give you the desired color. Hair itself is of a protein structure and the inner layer melanin needs to be chemically treated in order for the color to take effect.
If this information is helpfull then Plz never email me I never like the changing of the natural hair given by god to us.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tinyurl.im/aH7UA While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

I have dyed my hair funky colors several times with no bad side effects. Just be aware that the color may stick around longer than you want it to and sometimes it rubs off on clothing and bedding for a few days after being dyed.

That is actually hair straightening.
After hair straightening, your hair roots become weak.
To save your hair, you need to do a lot of maintenance.
If you hope to take the risk and additional effort for maintenance, you can go for it.
I thought curly hair is beautiful:-)
