Contraceptive pill advice ...?

i stopped taking my contraceptive pill (trinordiol) in September 2007 (end of) i had a withdrawl bleed but nothing since then, i know i'm not pregnant, but it's really bugging me, i've had no signs of my period starting, no pain, no discharge, i'm a healthy weight and am 25, i was on the pill for 5 years with no breaks longer than 6 months, i exercise 4 times per week, eat well, am not stressed ... the only sign i have is that i've developed a tiny patch of acne on my left cheek?

has anyone had an experience like this or does anyone know of a way i can encourage my period to start!!

Update:

... i forgot to add, i saw my Dr and he said to come back after 1 year.. this seems like a long time!!!!!

Hi, It can take several months for periods to return to normal after coming off the pill. I would say a year was a bit long to wait though, normally I would say see a Dr if they are not back after 6 months. I would recommend that you leave it until then and if you still have no sign of a period go back...preferably see a different Dr in the practice if possible.

There isn't anything you can do at home to help your periods return, you are already maintaining a healthy lifestyle which is all you can do really. Take care, I'm sure you'll soon be back to normal.

in the adventure that your era began the former day, start up taking your pills this sunday. have you ever been to the surgeon to get the prescription? If not, they might might desire to do a pap attempt except you're a virgin. they might do pap exams once you're on your era i understand because of the fact i've got had them carried out whilst on and rancid my era. by all ability start up your p.c.. on sunday- regardless of in case you nonetheless have a era. additionally some people will say it takes 7 days, 14 days and a million finished p.c.. of pills earlier they look after against being pregnant. I say a million finished p.c.. on the grounds that provides your physique a month to alter. So use a returned up approach. additionally take your pill on a similar time daily or you're in threat for being pregnant. What pill are you getting? i'm on Alesse (Avione is the usually used i've got confidence) and that i like it!! it would take some different pills until you detect the only which is sweet for you. additionally do not rely on retreating as a delivery administration approach- extraordinarily much each and every female who relies upon on that gets pregnant. you are the female so do not permit a guy % the delivery administration approach. adult adult males care interior the 2nd...and in maximum situations adult adult males can't tell while they are going to ejaculate until it incredibly is too previous due and if the two of you strikes you're pregnant! so truthfully take your pill precise!

It can take up to 6 months for your body to readjust after coming off of the pill. If you are really concerned, you may want to give the Dr. a call and let them know what is going on. Best of luck.

i'm not an expert in this, but from my medical point of view, u've to see ur doctor to take his direct advice....

by the way, contraceptives have a lot of side effects while taking it and after stoping it.... that's why ur doctor should talk with u, because there are some details that u think it's nothing while it is the key...

    GOOD LUCK
