Anyone had a chiropractic "atlas" adjustment?

it is supposed to set your head on straight? it is first bone in neck under your skull.

Yes, I recently had this done... twice. I was having headaches that would not go away with a regular adjustment. I told him I thought they were coming from the back at the base of my skull. He said my occipital was locked. I had no idea how he was going to adjust me, and it freaked me out a little bit when he did the first side. But my headache was gone before I even got to the car.

DO NOT GO BACK TO THAT CHIROPRACTOR! Go to a real doctor, blurred vision, headaches and numbness in your extremities is not something you should ignore. EDIT: Very clear lucid thinking on your part, if it doesen't get any better definately go see your doc. Unexplained numbness is no joke

chiropractors are thieves. although i too love the feeling of having my back cracked. their science is a laughable joke. do yourself a favor and find a good massage therapist....
