Tattoo to represent miscarriages!?

Question

I just had my third miscarriage in a year. I want to get a tattoo to represent my three angels in heaven. I don't want anything huge. If you have a link to a picture, that would be great. Before I had my last miscarriage, I was going to get two angel babies holding a banner that said "Always in my heart" or " Forever Missed" or something like that. Now that there has been three miscarriages, I don't know. If you can think of any good sayings or anything. My husband said he would get the same tattoo as me if it wasn't to girly. If you have any ideas for a tattoo for him, that would be great. Thanks. (If you don't think I should get one to represent what I been through, I don't want to hear it. Sorry, but I don't think I need to hear it right now.)Thanks to all who give me ideas!!!!

Initally, my thought was of a wilted rose or something, or maybe a flower that isn't open, signifing that, that life didn't get a chance to start. Now that I see that you've gone through three of them, maybe you could get three of them tied together, with some saying underneath.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage 3 years ago and I still think about it everyday. I haven't had children since then, either. You actually got me thinking about getting a tattoo to represent that time in my life too, so I think its a great idea. Some people don't understand the emotional scares a miscarriage can leave. I think the angels with a banner are a good idea, the quote "Always in my heart" would be ideal, too. I think you are on the right track. Sorry I don't have any new ideas, I just wanted to let you know I like this idea.

My sister gave birth at 4 months with a little boy about a year ago and her boyfriend got the praying hands and has his name and date on the side. even tho you don't know what the sex was it would look nice witht he praying hands and the saying "always in my heart mommy and daddys little angels"

Well when my mom had a miscarriage they gave her a certificate of the baby along with the footprint of him. It was sooo small = / Maybe you can get 3 footprints, one for each baby, and maybe put their names under it or something like that. Maybe you can do a bigger size foot for the older one and start descending the other two, soo they start looking smaller. Best of wishes for you in the future = )

A friend of mine miscarried and she had the ultrasound blown up and tattooed on her stomach.. It looks amazing..

i saw one that was a swirl of writing on her stomach.
it read "My angel child never born yet always in my heart". so beautiful.
