What do these words have in common: thorn, shout, seat, stew?
I was looking for the fact that they are all anagrams of directions on the compass. I like all the answers, many of which are correct (all do have a "t" for example) but were not the commonality I was looking for. Thanks all.
I had no idea who Brian Jacques is but looked it up now. It must be because I'm from the US. Now I have learned my new thing for the day, I can take a nap. LOL

Ghouly began to SHOUT and act all dumb!!
"I GOT a THORN IN MY SEAT...OUCH!!!!!" He cried.
We all thought he was just being funny.
"Man that's funny DUDE!!!!"
We all laughed, but then Ghouly was like "No I really GOT a thorn...in my... you know..."
We all sobered up quick and took him to the ER where they removed it.
Later we gave him some stew at my moms house and he felt better.
THE END
Hahaha!!
