If it's good enough for Hugh Heffner, it's good enough for me.

I am a classic PJ wearer right now. But, I only wear my nicer lounge pants or yoga pants when I leave the house.

I guess it really matters for some, how much time there is in a day.

I always had the belief that you should always represent yourself even when you do not think you need to be represented. You never know who you might meet or run into.

It's the person's own embarassment that should be the deciding factor in wearing pj's in public. I would be more concerned with people wearing the wrong size because they think it looks good on them.

    JMO, thanks! :)

Pajama pants out in public and without shoes? Weird. But I'd say gray socks. I can't believe I had an answer for this question, lol.

oh please! dont listen to anyone who tells you it's wrong. just because everyone has an image that they try to follow doesn't mean you have to. is the back of it cut off exposing your ***? no. is it see through? no! it's called pants for a reason. it's just made out of different material. i would've advise anyone going to school with them as i've seen in the past. but aint nothing wrong with just putting on a comfortable pair and going out.

i've seen people wearing swimming trunks as shorts, do you know why? because they are still shorts. i've seen guys wearing dress shirts even though they didn't have too do you know why? because it's still a shirt!. people wear sweat pants for non athletic of energy involved activities why? because they are still pants!. is that wrong? what about a business suit?

say you want to wear just the jacket with some jeans and go party. its not a business meeting, is that wrong? pajama pants are still pants! i personally don't do it. but there is no reason anyone can give for not doing it besides what they were told. and who says what they were told is right anyways?

Source(s): it's just comfort clothing. do what floats your boat. i wouldn't advise wearing the top though, thats just creepy

It doesn't bother me at all. I don't really care what other people wear i just worry about my self. My pajama pants dont have print on them or anything. I wear pajama pants out if im running to the store, or blockbuster, or just grabing something real quick though and i don't give a fck what anyone has to say about it.

Well, my opinion is as this-- i absolutely hate seeing people wearing sleep wear on the streets. It is so annoying. But, when i was in High School, i remember that my school used to have pajama day and everyone used wear pjs to school, i never actually wore any though.

I do wear them after I have just climbed out of bed, and I head out to get some yummy breakfast. Or...if I have PMS at night and really a pint of ice cream. If you are comfortable, who the hell cares what anyone else thinks. It's night like you have on lingerie, and many people at the gym work out in PJ pants. I say if you don't feel like putting on jeans or pants, go out in your PJ's!

What is acceptable to some is unacceptable to to others. I wouldn't wear PJ'S in public.

It's funny you mention that because when I was in high school, alot of girls were wearing spongebob, scooby doo, and dora pajama pants. At first I thought they just didn't feel like changing clothes, but later on I realized it was A FASHION TREND! Long story short no they shouldn't. In my opinion, they call certain clothes sleepwear for a reason, and that's to sleep in when going to bed.

Well, what do the pj pants look like? I will wear them out just to the gas station, when I was in college and had a 7 am class, they saw my pj pants a lot, but they were always tasteful, and had cartoons on them.

Depends on where you go and what the pants look like. Personally I wear mine to the supermarket sometimes, because I'm comfortable and because they are just one solid color, not plaid or something. I think it's acceptable.
