To all athiests: which was first?

Through evolution came the first chicken that laid the first egg.

The egg came before the chicken, it was laid by a bird extremely similar but genetically distinct from the first chicken.

Though if you want to be technical about it, eggs existed for millions of years before chickens evolved. They just weren't chicken eggs.

Now a question for you. Which came first, the i or the e?

The egg. The egg was laid by a bird who was ALMOST what we would call a chicken. In fact, we would probably call it a chicken for simplicity. But a minor mutation made its chick just a little bit different and that occurred inside the mama chicken (or the daddy rooster) before the egg was laid. But the chick was different from its momma.

Eggs were around a long, long time before birds... birds inherited the trait of laying eggs from their ancestors, the dinosaurs, who inherited it from their reptilian ancestors, who inherited it from their amphibian ancestors, who inherited it from the fish... and before that, I am not entirely sure : )

This was solved ages ago. The chicken is merely the way an egg makes an egg.

I know that God created the universe, but the chicken came first, it was hatched out of the egg of the 'almost a chicken' reptile ancestor, which was hatched from the egg of the 'not quite a chicken' reptile ancestors...
