Who do YOU want to see at next years Superbowl Halftime Show?

I can't believe how bad the halftime shows have been since Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction! It's really a disgrace. The NFL just does not want any chance of something like that happening again. To say that they're appealing to an older audience is ludacris. My family members, even my 68 year-old grandpa, was so bored in the halftime show that we muted the T.V. and looked up stuff on youtube. Also, the year's most popular performers should perform, duh! Look at the pregame show....Alicia Keys blew the roof off and Jordin Sparks performed the best rendition of the national anthem I have ever heard. Were there any wardrobe malfunctions then??? NO. The halftime show should not be treated any differently than the pregame show. It's all about ignorance if you ask me.

Tom Petty and the Rolling Stones are the great old bands that stilol rock hard i am a teenager and i LOVE those bands Prince is so gay i want to shoot him with a 22' 10,000 times besides that everyone else that has played in the Super Bowl Halftime Show in the last 3-4 years rocked...

No your wrong and that doesn't surprise me. Young people tend to only think of them self's. At the Superbowl you have a mixed crowd of different ages. You need halftime entertainment that most everyone would enjoy. The acts they have had are known and loved by more people than the ones that you have mentioned. Heck I've never heard of the ones you mentioned. And most people wouldn't have ether.

Green Day (Not singing American Idiot but a song like Time of Your Life)

and anyone else who has clean music and is popular.

They wont let Lil Wayne in because he isn't "family friendly".

I think the Superbowl in 2000 had the best halftime show because it had the years biggest acts.

I think Tom Petty was pretty good.

The NFL wont do that because they want it to appeal to the general audience.The general audience isnt teenagers, its adults so they put music like the Rolling Stones on the Halftime show. I dont know many people over the age of 30 that listen to Fall Out Boy.

Matchbox Twenty would be a great Halftime show.

Super Bowl organizers are NOT selling the game to high school kids. they leave that to the video game people. i don't put alot into the half time shows but i thought Tom Petty was the best in several years, nothing wrong w/ the Rolling Stones & Prince was sooooo much better before he sold out (that means Purple Rain & newer)

i'm not anti-rap music but do we really need anymore of this thrown in our faces? it's on at the games between every play, it's on every channel & it won't sell to the target market.

Pop Country is out as well. no better than rap in the fact that it's thrown in your face at every other corner. POP COUNTRY MUSIC SUCKS.

I don´t think fall out boy( ilike them) because is new, and the superbowl auddance is like 40 years. So Red Hot Chili Peppers would be OK

to me tom petty and the rolling stones are some awesome half time shows, because not everyone who watches football is 13 years old, so most viewers are not really into justin timberlake and britney spears. but to me a great half time show would be like jimmy buffet or neil diamond, you know an artist everyone has heard of and can sing along to the songs..lol!!

It should be a Pink Flloyd laser light show. With everyone having a pair of 3-D glasses. ( pick them up at your local grocery store.)
