Nose piercing or Tongue Piercing?

My tongue piercings were the least painful of all my piercings. My eyebrows were a close second.

Of course your nostril piercing hurt, if you do it yourself it will hurt tons more then going to a professional.

Eyebrow piercings have a higher chance of rejection then a tongue piercing, but the first few days of having a tongue piercing sucks because of the swelling.

YES you should go to a professional for ALL piercings. Doing it yourself can cause a nasty infection, along with the risk of hitting a vein.

You should wait about a month before you have oral sex or make out. You don't want his/her bodily fluids in your piercing, that could cause an infection

Whatever you do, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PIERCE YOUR TONGUE YOURSELF!! There is not only a major artery in it (which, if pierced, could cause you to bleed out), there are also many nerves that run through your tongue. If the piercing is not done properly, you could use all feeling and use of your tongue.

Now, as for how painful these piercings are, it varies from person to person because not everyone is built the same. Some people have more nerves closer to the surface around their eyebrows than others. Neither will likely be as painful as your nose, however, as cartilage piercings tend to be the most painful. By and large, the eyebrow tends to be slightly less painful than the tongue, but not by much.

If you have your tongue pierced you won't have to wait to kiss anyone, just make sure you rinse with Listerine often. The first couple of days after you have to stick to soft foods, no oral sex for 6 weeks.

And, btw, I apprenticed under a licensed body piercer, worked in a professional piercing shop for a year, and was myself licensed to pierce. So you may rest assured that I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about.

Tongue hurts more and it's harder to keep clean and learn to function with it.

HAHAHAHA The making out is probably about a week. As far as the bjs, I have no idea! But I would make it a while because you don't want to aggravate it or get extra dirt in there.

The tongue and eyebrow I would recommended having done professionally because both piercings are considerably more difficult than the nose.

Your tongue will hurt the most, because it swells up to fill your mouth for about three days, and the swelling goes away after 2 weeks totally.

I think it's a month that you can't have oral sex, but check with your piercer.

And if you are going to get your tongue done, go to a PROFESSIONAL piercer - they will be able to identify veins that you may not be able to see because they have studied the tongue in detail. It's only £20 so get it done professionally.

Well I have both both. A nose ring doesn't hurt as bad while healing. A tongue ring makes your tongue swell for like 3-4 days, and you are barely able to eat. A nose ring only took about a day 1/2 for the minor pain to go away from my nose. I personally like the nose ring better. But tongue rings are good also.

you should ALWAYS get piercings done professionally, especially when they're on your face and could so easily go wrong. Tounge hurts more than nose, and theres plenty of thigs that can go wrong with tounge, lots of things you cant eat and you have to clean it after you eat with a special solution. i cannot stress enough that you should get it done professionally. Theres not really rules on making out with people after getting it done, but you wont want to for at least a week - it'll hurt too much. as for oral sex, shouldnt be having that for at least a month afterwards, and even then make sure you use a condom because your partners bodily fluids could comprimise the healing of the piercing.

well i got 4 in my right ear, 3 in my left, nose, tongue, above my lip, belly button. U cant kiss 4 2 weeks if you get your tongue done unless you suck plenty of ice which makes it heal quick. get the tongue professionally done because there is a certain place that gets pierced

Getting my tounge done didnt hurt that much but you drool alot. Yes go to a professional! I had to wait 2 months before I could give a ******** LOL..... Kissing maybe after a few weeks.... I ate soft tacos for the first week and mashed potatos!

1) you should never do your own piercings. You might think you know your body but you cant see your veins.

2) Getting your tounge Pierced really messes up your teeth.

If you want another piercing, get your eyebrow done -- professionally.

ive got my tongue pierced and it bloody hurt and swelled for a few days trust me u should get it done professionally coz its ypur tongue and u dont want to get an infection or do it wrong.
