KG's Replacement in All-Star Game?
Rasheed Wallace over Josh Smith???
JOSH SMITH
17.8 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.9 APG, 2.0 SPG, 3.3 BPG
RASHEED WALLACE
12.9 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.9 APG, 1.4 SPG, 1.6 BPG
Appears to me that Josh has better stats in basically every category! So why Sheed? (great, another Piston)
p.s. yes, i am biased since I'm a Hawks fan but I believe Smith is more deserving.
agree/disagree?
I agree. Hedo is another worthy consideration

I agree. I like your choice of Josh Smith individually.
But as mentioned above, Hawks is not a great team so they dont deserve two all stars this season.
Actually I prefer Josh Smith over Joe Johnson. As good Joe Johnson is recently, Josh Smith has been a monster at both ends. He is an excellent defensive player but I guess there are more excellent forwards than guards in the East.
Turkoglu is a good choice as well. I even think Allen should be considered since Celtics deserves to be represented by two players.
Anyway commissioner want to replace a big man with a big man, I guess to make it more balance as mentioned by DJ TKO.
Or may be he wants to reward him for his good behaviour as well lol.

I agree with the last poster, Hedo was the most deserving. I have no clue why Sheed was even considered as an All-Star this year. He is averaging career lows in every category this year, if Hedo did not make it...I would have at least like to see Gerald Wallace make it. But, now that I think about it...Sheed was placed in there b/c the East needed another big body PF/C to match up against the west. Yes, I know smith is big body, but he is not a ligament center.

I think Hedo Turkoglu was the most deserving player
19.4 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.2 APG, 1.04 SPG, .37 BPG
He might not be the best defensive player, but he's the second best player on an elite Magic team, and considering Joe Johnson made the all star team, Smith is the second best player on a borderline playoff team.

Well I really like Josh Smith because he is my man on my Hawks. And I do think he deserves it.
But Rasheed Wallace in himself brings viewers and ratings.
All the controversy behind him, you never know what is going to happen. I think that's why he got the role over Josh Smith. Because clearly he is NOT better than him.

CB4 chris bosh should be in that starting slot now. Josh Smith is having a nice year considering he shot somethin like 33% from the field last year, way 2 work on that jumper.

I agree with the post above, if he gets his head into the game and focus to his task, he can really dominate. It's just that his temper and lack of concentration perhaps beacuse of every calls slapped into him makes his game awful and funny as well. But ey, since sheed moved in to detroit, it was when success started to come to motown basketball, each and every year.

I am biased towards Sheed.... Im sorry but its true. Plus when he is actually dedicated to the game he can score 50... So if hes dedicated on the allstar game he could be mvp...

The Matrix should be the replacement since he is an East player now! Shawn Marion rules!
