I have my warm ups recorded on a CD in my car. So, I do them every morning religiously. As far as the warm ups, there are a few things you want to accomplish. First, warm the vocal chords by doing the scale. Second, alternate high and low (a yodel effect). Lastly, you want to loosen the jaw and lips. To do this, make an "oo" sound then an "ah" sound while smiling. Alternate opening your mouth as wide as it will go and close it again.

Singing is something that everybody can learn and improve. Of course, some are more naturally skilled than others, but even a poor voice can be overcome by dedication, practice, and more practice. Even if you're content to sing in the shower, there are some things you can do to improve your voice. You’ll do this through a set of time-tested and highly refined vocal exercises that come together to train every aspect of your singing voice: a voice where you can sing with amazing pitch, better agility, more power, improved resonance and tone, and impress anyone who hears you sing.
The Superior Singing Method is like having a personal vocal instructor showing you exactly how your voice works, and how to work with each muscle group in your voice to get the results you want.

well, I've been taking voice lessons for about 12 years, and my favorite warm up excersize is called "sirens" we basically hit the highest not we can, and then just slide down to the lowest note...
it's somewhat like a "Heeee....EEEEEEE.." type of sound...then we do the notes in between.
oh, and be sure not to force this because it will damage your vocal chords.
and, before doing any warm up excersized, or before singing, you need to do a pre-warm up, by simple in haling through your mouth (slowly) and then exhailing in a Shhhh sound (slowly)...
this was a fun question! I hope that I helped!

Do scales and such...Ive heard some sing the alphabet going up and down the scale. Also use different phrases to help enunciate.
Ex:
George Washington's white washers went west.
Drink warm fluids to keep your throat loose :)

There are SOOOO many ways to warm-up your voice, some more creative than others. Some more technical.
It is important to understand Why you are warming up and the purpose of each vocal exercise you do. "Warming up is when you are preparing what you are about to USE"
First choose a breathing exercise that you are comfortable with. EX. Breathe in through your mouth as much air as you can but slowly and then release the air slowly.(Repeat for 5 min) This is to expand your diaphragm. You need this muscle for breathing technique when you sing. It supports your voice. Keep it in shape.(rem. there are many versions of this exercise)
Choose your warm ups based on the style of music you are about to sing and the vocal techniques you will be using.
EX. an opera singers warm up is different from a gospel singers warm up again because of the different vocal techniques they will individually using.
Head voice vs belting etc..
You can sing an easy song softly, then a slightly harder song at a normal volume, then a harder song with your singing volume. This is until you get to hear some exercises you like or a vocal coach
