Why would someone say "queny-fo" when they mean 24?

or "skreet" for street? or "streen" for screen?

Some people are just not grammatical when they speak. A lot of it comes from the ghetto talk and internet slang. Others may be trying to learn the English language or, as you said, have a speech/hearing problem.
