How do you get an annoying person off your back?

I'm tired of having to deal with someone who thinks its ok to be stupid all the time.

Best thing to do is simple tell them how you feel and roll from there. Don't keep it bottled up inside.

    But be gentle.

Use your tact and diplomacy to bow out of conversations & social situations. Try to be honest without being mean and convey that this is just not working for you without hitting him/her over the head about how irritating he/she is. I have found out i can always call the shots to my own level of comfort whether it is to scale back with the person or (in rare circumstances) excise them from my life.

It is more than just another task because it involves another human being but you can do this with a kind heart and get relief from this situation. Good luck.

Avoid them if possible. If that is not an option then let them know that you have no intention of cleaning up their messes due to their lack of common sense, if that is the problem. If they are just annoying tell them you'd rather not deal with them.

Just take yourself out of the situation. Be polite but go "do something else" when they approach. Pick up the phone and dial a number but take your realtionship up to that professional level where you're not talking personal things any longer.

    1. Blackmail them.

    2. Bribe them.

    3. Ignore them.

    4. Admit them to the psych ward against their will.

    5. Hire someone to "take care of them."

I would probably confront them in a very polite manner. Don't hurt their feelings. But make it clear that you do not enjoy their presence. That would be a direct way to deal with the issue rather than trying to avoid them. Avoiding them might not always be effective anyways.

The best way would be to tell 'em. It's only way they will fully understand where you are coming from. Unfortuately there is no easy way to hurt their feelings--yea it's gonna hurt them, but you being fake about it only makes it worse. There is nothing wrong with telling someone to pipe down.

Tell them!!!!!! Why should you be constantly annoyed and irritated, this causes un-necessary stress. Let this person know that being around them is stressing you out, and they need to relax, or limit your time with one another.

Provide him with a list of times and events when it is ok with you for him to be stupid.

Well I usually run backwards into a wall really hard.

When they hit the floor, I put the shoe leather to em'!
