Is anyone elses wife as bad a cook as mine?

Yeah, mine is. She burns boiling water but I don't care 'cos I'm divorced from her now.

I think it takes alot of practise and you can either cook or you cant, she probably doesnt like it.

I however love cooking and my husband likes what I cook,which is good as he normall tells me and is honest when something is horrible, he also says that even the new things I attempt turn out lovely so I cannot imagine how your wife feels when you tell her her cooking is rubbish.

I know my mum said she couldnt cook when she first moved in with my dad and everything she cooked like you said was hard or burnt, but she just stuck with it and now can cook anything and is a great cook, my mum brought a recipe book to cook with.

Where as I think of something and then cook it and it works which is weird lol but good, If my husband ever told me I couldnt cook he would make his own meals in future, as least your wife is trying too cook for you. But why not give her a hand, and make sure if she is cooking a meat dish that the meat is cook properly as you both dont want to be ill.

Well yes, my wife took the cake when it came to cooking, she used to burn everything she could have burned water, She put some chips on one evening and burned the house to the ground. Agh!! what the hell,as was said before it's the thought that counts. I live alone now, alone there in the hammock, a lonesome life too. She went back to her mother, so she has no more need to scorch or char anything. Me little Darlin I still loves er.lol

If she is so bad, why don't YOU try your hand at cooking. If you are way too busy, maybe you can afford cooking lessions for her.. Why is it always the wife . You are a person who needs to eat. Maybe she could be doing something else, and you could be burning the food.

Yeah, my wife (well, my flatmate... we live together and don't have sex ergo we're married) is a useless cook. If she tries to cook anything I usually end up rescuing it for her. The first time she attempted spagbol she turned on the wrong ring and wondered why her onions weren't sweating...

yes my sister in law my hubbys brothers wife she cant even cook a boiled egg she is so hopeless she cant even make a sandwich thats how bad she is and she is also lazy

If she's that bad why don't you cook? how lazy can you get eating burnt or horrible food.

you should get her cooking lessons and go with her too ( so you can learn. i used to live on microwave meals until my baby was born and his dad bought me cokery lessons i can now make loads without burning it
