My friends iPod didn't come with the installation CD.?
My iPod came with the install CD but hers didn't. We both have the same iPod, just in different colors. I thought there would be a link somewhere on Apple.com but couldn't find ANYTHING. Should I lend her my install CD or what other option does she have to get her iPod set up correctly on the computer?

Judt download itunes from www.apple.com click on to install, or download and find the latest version of itunes. All the help you need setting upi the ipod and your music will be on there.

All she has to do is open up iTunes, and download the software to get started, while her iPod is plugged in.

Did she have one before and traded the old one for a discount? If so, I don't think you get one, I bought a new one less than 2 months ago.

no need anymore - download itunes if she ain't got it and it'll do the rest... recognises the serial number and everything.
