Interesting question....obviously, after treatment, both transsexual men and transsexual women are sterile, so the question only applies to transsexual people BEFORE treatment.

In which case, the answer is also obvious; a transsexual woman is born without a uterus or ovaries, but with testes and a penis, and a transsexual man is born with a uterus and ovaries, but without testes or penis, so if they wanted to have a baby between them, it would have to be borne by the man, before he began treatment.

Although there aren't many transsexual men (certainly none that I know) who would willingly go through a pregnancy.

Source(s): I'm a woman who was born transsexual.

Sex reassignment surgery does not leave the individual with functioning genitalia. In other words, someone born a woman cannot ejaculate or impregnate anyone after surgery, and someone born a man cannot conceive a baby. It is purely cosmetic. They may look like a man or a woman in some cases, but they are not.
