Epiphany had a heart attack due to the stress of her son's unsolved murder -- receiving his ashes in the mail was kind of a last straw, but since he died they've been dropping hints about her health. February is heart-health month and black women in particular are a high-risk group for heart disease, so they're doing a PSA storyline.

The nurse's name is Epiphany and she was so stressed over the murder of her son Stan and when she received his ashes in the mail, she became so distraught and had a heart attack inside the locker room and needs heart surgery, that's why she's now a patient in the hospital.

her name is epiphany. a few wks ago her son stanford died.(he worked for jason and sonny). she hasnt been dealing with his death well. she threw herself into her work. was more overly demandind, rude and angry at the hospital staff than ususal. yesterday everything came to a head when she got her son's ashes, she collapsed with a heart attack. i missed the part about her heart surgery. i have to catch up on youtube.
