ok heres a tuff one for you mechanics?

I just replaced all of the o2 sensors in my car. well the check engine light is still on so I pulled the codes and the bank 1 sensor 1, bank 2 sensor 2 flashed well there new o2 sensors and the connection is good I was told to check to circuit fuse and i cant find it for the life of me, its not under the dash or the hood any ideas? thank you by the way its a 96 Thunder-Bird

    OH c'mon, quit fooling around and have your mass airflow sensor cleaned,,, this should be the first corrective action and not autozone or another fascimile,\

    just check the service bulletins pertaining to this

    Just because you get an o2 sensor code, doesn't mean your o2 sensors are bad. Start with the basics like spark plugs, plug wires, fuel pressure, etc,.

    Yeah, what bob a said too. You ain't gonna find one. So don't listen anymore to the guy that told you that.

    LOL I didn't even think to ask if you cleared the old codes! Just so basic. But I guess I should have.

    The light will not go out immediately , just because you replaced the sensors. The codes have to be cleared with a scan tool , or just drive it for a while and after several key start cycles it should go out.

    the 02 sensors are controled by the computer. did you clear the codes after you put the sensors in?

    have you noticed an decrease in fuel mileage latley?

    it may be an acutual problem with the engine... those sensor aren't just there to go bad... you may be running lean and it's setting of the code for the sensor.

    there isn't a seperate fuse for the O2 sensors they are powered from the ecu so stop looking.

    there is no fuse in the o2 sensor circuit. b1s1and b2s2 don't tell a whole lot .4,6 or8 cylinder.high voltage ,low?heater circuit.rich or lean. badboyalice@yahoo.com

    It sounds like the Hydrocilator to me. They are not cheap!!

    did you disconect the battery to reset the ecu?
