Worked at a laundry sorting company, It was perhaps the worst job Ive ever come acrost..

In the upstairs area *sorting area, they had total lack of ventilation fans, and no A/C - it would go over 110f degrees on a 80f degree day.

Could never get the lint out of your nose / mouth ears / hair.. ect..

    It paid minimum wage.

Some of the fellow employees where very untrustable and devious.. things would go missing all the time, and lots of fights would occur randomly.. with the blame being put on everyone, so everyone would be punished in some sort of way for it..

The laundry being sorted was rather always very nasty, and came from hospitals, hotels, motels, and many other places where who knows what was on them..

And many other reasons this place was horrible..

I was the only one out of like 20 people to last more then 2 days there, on my first week.. I stayed there for 4 months till found a better job.

It was slightly enjoyable due to no dress code, but other then that, it was horrible.. 7 day work week.. with 30 minute lunches..

Best, overall, is probably my current job. Although, I really do miss my previous job (and it's been 10 years!). I ran a bar & grill on the golf course and the members were wonderful. They all pitched in every Christmas and gave me a nice bonus. I had one member there who gave me a $100 tip every Saturday. There was another who would give me a $100 tip every time he was playing while I was driving the beverage cart and say "nice legs" (but was always very respectful). I really miss the guys, not the job itself!!! Hmmm... worst job was either working for Eddie Bauer (I don't do retail) or at a boat dealership where I rented out Hertz Penske trucks (HATED it). All of my other jobs were either watiress or bartending jobs. Again, loved the people but glad I'm not doing that work anymore!

It wasn't gross or anything. It was a retail job selling hair products. The owner was a cow. She thought that by undercutting her competiitors prices by 5 cents that she would steal their customers, yeah right. The staff weren't allowed to make any decisions. There was nothing to do unless you were actually serving a customer and there weren't many of those. The highlight of the day was mopping the floor. The other staff member and I used to fight over who got to mop, we both wanted to do anything to relieve the boredom. I only worked there 2 months until something better came along. It was so bad I don't even include it on my resume.

Sanding and buffing luxury car dashboards.

    1. I had to be there at 4 in the morning.

    2. I had to wear goggles and earplugs all day because the machinery was too loud and therefore couldn't really talk to anybody.

    3. The fact that I was making just over minimum wage to produce cars for ungrateful rich people.
