I was baptized catholic and raised catholic. I'm 15 now and I'm really starting to disagree with some of it. I don’t think you have to follow any certain religion to live spiritual life, or to be close to God. If you have your own beliefs in your head that bring you close to God isn’t that enough? Because isn’t becoming close to the ‘greater being’ what every religion shoots for in the end? Most religions say that we all have the kingdom of heaven within us, so we shouldn’t have to be part of a certain religion to find that kingdom of heaven.

Goodness, why can't you cut the vauge abstractions and cliches and just speak your question, I was taught this in English class, for poetry oddly enough. You'll end up sounding more intellegent and your words will have more meaning that way. There are so many people in the world, nobody's beliefs are that unique. And what traditions are you even referring to...irritating.

I am not necessarily unique, but I am definitely not traditional. I was raised Christian, but I chose to not believe when I realized that may not be the best idea to continue. I have tried to live a good life, but I also chose to not to follow anyone or anything in particular.

I weaned myself off of it and know I have my own unique beliefs, including morals and values.
