Will people ever stop adding "gate" to the end of words when there is a scandal?

Well, since "spygate" involved the actual taping of the games I think the issue of destroying the tapes should be "spygate-gate" and that would be ridiculous enough for people to realize how stupid it is to continue to add "gate" every time there is a scandal. Otherwise this could go one forever. The news media still seems to think it is clever.

For the same reasons that idiot AmeriKans have to laugh every time they say a word with an "a" in it... there is just something wrong about seeing the talking heads trying to do a serious news story about several hunderd people being killed... and laugh all the way through the story.

It won't. These names are perpetuated by the media, and will be around as long as people pay attention to the story.
