Q about melamine dinner plates/bowls/etc.?

Is it like china or is it more like plastic? I just ordered some online and I assumed it would be like china/ceramic etc. but now I am not so sure.

They are hard and very thick plastic .

If they are a good one , they must have a grade for safe to food , but I suggest , dont put any boil water directly into melamine .

I really want to, but the women I married is not into taking baths. I know it sounds strange, but she is too busy to take time for herself and relax. She has to always be going. I've hinted to her in the past that I've wanted to do this and she just shruggs it off. My ideal date (not first date of course not) would be to have a hot/soapy bath waiting for my women to come home, strip down and get into. Rubbing her shoulders and back and teasing her slightly and then leaving her be and heading to the kitchen to make her a nice dinner with a fabulous glass of wine.

it's fantastic, it doesn't look cheap but it technically is b/c it is closer to a plastic in make-up but it looks like real dishes. I use it in my restaurant that has been open for a year and we haven't had one piece broken yet. It holds up well to extreme temps as well.

    i got mine here

It is more like plastic, very durable and light weight. I like it especially if there are children in the household. I used it exclusively in the 1960s when my kids were little. I hope you like yours!

its virtually the same as ceramic, the glaze doesn't normally last long in a hot dishwasher but should be ok for at least a year depending on number of washes in a dishwasher. handwashing doesn't affect glaze.
