  • What will happen if I prune my climbing rose to fit a small space?

My hubby bought a climbing rose and planted it by the front door of our business. It has grown so tall that it hangs out over the sidewalk and pricks people coming in the door. Should we move it to a different location or just prune it into the shape that fits the space?

  • How can I decorate my back entrance to be more welcoming?

People come to my house by way of the back door that enters into a dining room and kitchen. The back entrance is through my garage and no matter how hard I try to get people to use the front door, they insist on entering there. I am thinking of using that garage space for an outside living area. Got any good cheap ideas?

  • Dealing with difficult people?

My family's difficult person is a daughter i n law who has made my son miserable for over a year threatening to divorce him and keeping the children from him. They are still married, but just barely. She wants to come to our Christmas gathering and I said yes because she is part of the family. She is trying to make amends, but I think it might take well over 100 years!! I am set to treat her amicably, but my other children are wanting to be mean. These are all adults and I do not know what they will do. Any suggestions on handling this?

  • What would be a good use for spinach water?

A friend gave me a bushel of spinach. I washed it several times to remove the sand. Then I heated water and blanched the spinach. I put it in freezer bags and froze it. The heated water is what I have left. It tastes really good, so I decided to put it in jars and keep it for soup or whatever. Can you suggest other uses?
