How do you like your robot vacuum cleaner?

I have a 4 year old Roomba Discovery and I love it. It goes under beds and furniture and it is very quiet. The only problem is that the innards get clogged up with dust and carpet fibres and it stops working. The best thing to do for this is to clean the inside with a can of Air Duster.

The first time it quit, I took it apart and cleaned it out manually, but it's much faster to just stick the straw inside and give it a spray.

Hi there, Saw your question n thought I'd tell you about The one I bought Last year, My daughter said for Christmas she wanted a Robot vacuum cleaner, The one for Pet HaIr...Sooo was the start of my search! I read the Consumers Guide first, They had just three models rated n only one for pet hair. Keeping that report in mind I went on to many,many sites, I'll tell you, Not many good reviews out there with the exception of The Orig. Robo..I did research brands sold at stores in town and on line as I was looking for honest consumer comments, NOT just Store pre written discriptions. I also wanted to see the different return policies. After many hrs of research n comments I decided to buy my daughter The Orignal Robo Cleaner n placed my order directly online with the Robo Co. At this time last year. The sale also included a Free set of additonal brushes (39.95 value) and Free Shipping....My daughter was delighted with her gift, Not to mention...She absolutly loves the job it does! Just about 2 months ago she had a problem and using the self help guide didn't do the trick...A quick call to there 800 number and a new part was fedx to her home within 2 days... I visited her and did see for myself how easy it is to work, She silmpy sets the timer(No need to be home to turn it off n on) the best is, when its done cleaning it returns itself to its home..Well worth the difference in money..Bottom line, It performs fantastic and the personal customer service can't be beat... I love mine but its on the blink right now and getting parts in our city is next to nil. I think Canadian Tire carries some as they do sell them but not for the older models I gather. But I really do enjoy using it but because I did have a cat and dog I still used my big one at least once a week.
