Survey: Now that John Andretti qualified for the Daytona 500, I've got a couple of questions?
1. What lap will he crash?
2. How many cars will he take out with him?
3. Vegas odds for him to go all 500 miles?
To Danbunn1... John's middle name is "Crash". Hope you feel better. John's a nice guy, hey, I've been a NASCAR fan for forty plus years. It's called REALITY.

I dont think he will crash unless a tire lets go--I think a Mechanical failure will do him in as this Happens alot with the 1 Car teams!!!!!

With the crapshoot that is restrictor-plate racing Andretti has just as good a chance as anybody else maybe an even better chance because he is already being counted out. Andretti still has practice to tune up his car and get ready for the race on Sunday. A top 10 run in the Duels isn't too bad and with improvement that could become a top ten in the 500. Don't underestimate the underdog!!

1) He will not crash on his own ,he might get caught up in the big one on lap 191.
2) If he does take cars out its their own fault cause Busch already proved you can spin out without bendind it up .
3) I would say vegas odds for him going 500miles will be around 8 to 1
But time will tell ,I hope he does well he as always seemed like a pretty good sport even with all of his misfortunes.

1. He won't. He will either blow the engine or park 100 laps in.
2. 0 unless the oil he leaves out on the track causes other cars to slide and crash.
3. 1 in 10 is my guess.

He will not crash. He will break something and be done by lap 50. He will not take any other cars out. Odds are about what the others said... 25-1.

Boo. While I realize Andretti isn't one of the favorites to win at Daytona, he has won there before.
Getting caught up in a wreck or having a motor go away are not necessarily the fault of the driver. If he wrecks himself, then I understand the joke.
John Andretti is seemingly one of the nicer racers of NASCAR.
I thought "couple" meant two and "few" meant three.

He will get to the last lap before crashing out.
Two cars will solve the problem.
All 500 miles will be to his advantage.
The questions are adequate and dirrect to the point.

I'll give even odds that Hornish or a GEM car crashes before he does.
GEM couldn't keep their damned tires on the cars, it seems.

1) He will crash at lap 200.
2) He'll hit one car but won't sputter anyone.
3) 25-1
He will finish 18th even though of the last-lap crash.

lap 25
6 cars will wreck with him
