I'm here on Yahoo Answers to give some kind of advice, opinion, and (often tried, seldom achieved) humor. I'm all about: politics, The Office, 80s music.

  • Will an American win an IndyCar race this season?

Petty nationalism aside, will any of the Americans in the IndyCar Series win an event this season?

Last year, three Americans won: Rahal, Patrick, and Hunter-Reay.

Does it say something that the highest form of American open-wheel racing has yet to see a native son or daughter taste victory in 2009?

As usual, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are always welcome.

  • What's your take on Danica vs. Milka at Mid-Ohio?

Milka was slower and holding Danica up in practice, but did either driver handle the situation correctly?

  • What is a fan walk pass?

When I bought the ticket for the Nashville race this Saturday, I went ahead and got the "fan walk pass" for $10.

What the hell did I buy and to what does it entitle me? Did I pay ten bucks to just stand in the infield before the race?

  • Anyone going to the Nashville race this weekend?

The Firestone Indy 200 at Nashville Superspeedway is the next race of the 2008 IRL campaign this Saturday night. I'll be in attendance (go cheap seats!).

Any of my fellow Yahoo! racefans attending the event? If so, who wants to buy me a Coke?

  • Is the racing at Bristol boring?

I'm not sure if it's the new surface (multiple grooves) or another COT blame, but the racing at Bristol sure is not what it used to be. The drivers may love it, but this is like watching Atlanta or California, almost.

Anyone else find the new Bristol lacking?

As always, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are appreciated.

  • What is your favorite Dale Jarrett memory?

This Sunday, Dale Jarrett hangs it up after years of racing in NASCAR. Of all of his accomplishments (including winning the Daytona 500 three times, 1999 championship) and memories, which is your favorite?

As always, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are welcome.

  • Which NASCAR sponsor do you most patronize?

With all of the sponsors in NASCAR, which product/service do you most use or purchase?

Ever go out of your way to buy a certain product...or go out of your way to not buy a certain product?

  • Do you enjoy the old NASCAR races on ESPN Classic?

In about an hour, ESPN Classic will air the 1999 California 500. It's usually on Friday mornings (Thursday night) at 3am Eastern that they air NASCAR races from years past.

It's cool, especially if you were looking for something to fill in that 3am on Friday time slot.

If only ESPN Classic would air these during a decent hour instead of bowling or poker tournaments.

  • FAFSA household size/child support help?

On my FAFSA, it asks me to list the number of people in the household of my father (parent providing information) on Question 66.

Later, it asks me to list the amount of child support he paid for my little sister, last year (Worksheet C).

I realize that if I list the child support for her, I can't include her as a member of his household-even if he does provide more than half of her support, otherwise.

Would it be more advantageous (as far as getting financial assistance) to not list the child support and instead include her in the household size?

  • How expensive must a watch be to be called a timepiece?

At what dollar amount does an ordinary watch suddenly become a timepiece?

Honestly, how much have you ever spent on a watch...er, timepiece?

As always, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are welcome.

  • Should Sprint Cup drivers be allowed to race in the Nationwide Series?

The Nationwide (then Busch) Series used to be a stepping stone for unexperienced drivers to make a name and earn their way to the Sprint Cup. Now, it's just something fun that Sprint Cup drivers do on Saturdays for kicks. Should the (usually) more experienced and established Sprint Cup drivers even be allowed to race in the once developmental Nationwide Series?

As always, sarcasm and bad attempts are humor are welcome.

  • Do you miss Ken Squier or Bob Jenkins in the broadcasting booth?

It's just not the same Daytona 500 without Ken Squier saying "Great American Race" at the finish or Bob Jenkins' golden level of broadcasting the races.

I hate hearing "I wanna document," "whale of a," "that (number) car."

Anyone else miss Squier or Jenkins?

As always, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are appreciated.

  • Best Daytona 500 celebration?

Winning the Daytona 500 brings with it a special celebration in victory lane. Some that come to mind are Darrell Waltrip's '89 questioning Mike Joy and dance, Earnhardt's '98 series of donuts and the line on pit road, and Michael Waltrip's emotional first win (later soured) in 2001.

You can just list the celebration or tell why. As always, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are appreciated.

  • Which tracks should IRL have added to the 2008 season?

For the upcoming season, IRL added zero new tracks from the 2007 season. They even took away the Michigan race.

What tracks, new or previous, should have been included in the forthcoming season? You can just name the track(s) or tell why. As always, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are always appreciated.

Such a good history-related question. You can either just name them or describe and tell why. Of course, smart remarks are always appreciated.

  • What causes my allergic reaction to several antibiotics?

Zithromax, amoxicillin, and most recently bactrim. All three of these antibiotics give me an itchy rash, and I end up back at the doctor to fix the problem.

Why exactly am I allergic to these antibiotics? What antibiotic would probably be a safe choice to have next time I get an infection?
