Who spends and render accounts of church offerings? Any law for milking the weak and innocent people?

My friend has converted his house to a church. Every Sunday, he collects Tithe (10%), Building fund, Sunday School offering, Thanksgiving money, Development fund, Special levies, donations, Anniversary funds, Evangelical fund etc.

What does he do with the monies?

If he simply put up a sign that says "church" in front of his house, he has not converted it to anything.

A church will need to have a recognized board of directors, which oversees the funds for the church. Everything from pastor salaries to supplies must be account for. The building fund is to be used only for the purpose of upkeep on the church, and is normally a separate collection (most churches will set aside one Sunday a month for building fund donations). Every church must also have report to whichever charge they belong too, and account for all spending to this charge as well.

When you decide to visit a church and the service they provide, they in my opinion become too agressive to bring you into their fold, with the underlying desire to control and extract a pledge of 10% or more, that they love to call "love-offerings" There you are, trying to get your head and soul closer to God, and to be inconsequential about it, so you can talk to the Lord in a simple comfort, but no! they have to have someone come down the isle to pin a tag on you, so now you are being stared at, singled out, and being socialy forced to greet people you rather not greet just then. When you visit a bar instead of a church, the bartender does not place a visitors badge on you, nor will people at the bar run over to shake your hand, they are mature people that will nod, or just say a simple hi, or nice day, and let you keep your personal privacy, for what that's worth anymore. People that think they are just full of goodness, just do not consider to mind their own business, and just make you know, how good persons they are. The church should welcome you just as a bar does, for they both know the reason you came in, and allow you me-time to decide what drink you desire, or allow you to adjust your eyes to the church surroundings without spectacle.

How the hell should I know? Is your mythical friend's church, as most churches are, a registered charity? If so the charity commission has the job of overseeing how the money is spent, accounts are published and are available for public scurtiny.

The law for milking the "weak and innocent" is the same as it is for everyone else. I believe far more money has been extracted from the "weak and innocent" by the likes of Robert Maxwell than by any church.

Right on!!! He is a good steward of God's riches!!! As long as he feeds to Word of God to his people he is OK and above reproach... YOU NEED TO WATCH OUT!!!

Make sure that the "weak andinnocent" people know about paying tithes and offering or God the Holy Ghost will zap them on the spot and they will be given a Christian burial without notifying anybody in their family, and go to HELL for blaspheming against God the Holy Ghost! (Acts 5:1-11)

Act 5:9-11 (NIV) Peter said to her, “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord?* (*The Holy Comforter! by not paying the full tithe and offering!) Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.” At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband* (*done the Christian way without notifying anybody in your family!) GREAT FEAR SEIZED THE WHOLE CHURCH AND ALL WHO HEARD ABOUT THESE EVENTS.

Not paying the full tithe and offerings is a great unforgivable blasphemy against God the Holy Ghost and you will go to Hell for sure!

So who spends the money is not an issue in the Bible! You must give or else... see what happened to people who didn't give the FULL tithe.. so make sure you don't short change God the Holy Ghost or the clergy will get mad at you... with a big benevolent smile, of course!!!

Churches are usually charities and are obliged to issue audited accounts. If not, they are taxable on their surplus. If your friend has set up his own church and doesn't issue audited accounts, he can expect a visit from HM Revenue and Customs enforcement team before long.

1.You give because you want to....No one one is forced to give

    2. God will call those who are in the ministry to give an account of themselves.

    3. I am not in any ministry and I don't collect anything....I am only a willing giver
