Laptop Keeps powering itself Off...?
I have a 1yr old compaq presario. If I tap any part of it, it powers off, with or without the battery/powerlead. Is there something lose inside???? confused......

this happened to me once, so i rang up the company and they told me my watwat needed defibulating. so i sent it off and they fixed it free of charge. other help is to stop tapping it. lol. but seriously ring them up and say someone told you your watwat needs defibulating

Good Question...My laptop was also like that, this is what i did and it solved my problem, i turn off the A/C Power and made my laptop run on battery for abt 3 days, once battery almost empty, i connected the wire and turned used A/C power. But it did not help me up that much, it kept turning off itself and i thought that the computer's circuit board is going to blow up, if that keeps happening, therefore, i contacted the microsoft and seeked help, they asked me to call them, but i don't want to do that, so all i did was, scan my computer with all the trustable Anti-Virus softwares and kept scanning, until almost all the viruses got deleted that solved 75% of my problem, my computer was and is also 1 year old. But now, it is not happening i don't know why, also go and check your battery settings and other power settings in the control panel

I use a serving tray as my lap top,that way none of the food can spill over.
