I would go for C. Abraham Lincoln because during his time of reign, he did some outstanding things with the slaves. It would really get me thinking what could be do now in 2008.

I wouldn't vote for any of them, well, perhaps for abe or jfk, because I'd know they would be assassinated, so they wouldn't be there long.
