Thank you Steelers...?

The Steelers came out and said that the Pats taping had no effect on the outcome of games against the Steelers, including 2 Championship games.

About time someone makes a statement like this. Hopefully, this will help this whole thing go away. The past is the past.

Let's move forward and not worry about what could have been.

Thoughts?

Update 2:

I bet Specter is pissed about this...especially coming from the Steelers. Ha Ha.

It's about time someone or in this case some team came out to stop all this BS the Patriots are getting. All these teams and people want to do is humiliate the Patriots to no end.

The Steelers have my deepest thanks. Hopefully what the Steelers have done will help stop all this talk about the Patriots.

Source(s): Not a Patriots fan, but I want all this talk TO END

It's not going to go away....Specter wants heads to roll and he isn't going to stop until he gets what he wants.

EDIT: Thanks for including the link..yeah..that was very cool of them to do...

One of the only positive statements to come out of this so far. Much respect for the way the Steelers handle their business!

    Well done.

Maybe if all the other teams (except for the Rams, apparently) came out and say that too...MAYBE it'll go away...maybe.

Source(s): You lightened my day....not even a Pat's fan and I'm tired of it.

Tell you the truth I wish the whole thing would just go away. I am tired of hearing it, now after saying that, if it comes out that Belichik taped the walk thru I think he should be suspended for LIFE!

    Yeah.

That's one (1) person involved with one (1) team's opinion and that's very interesting.

On the other side, you've got some ex-Rams player suing them with a different opinion.

The bottom line is this will get much worse before it goes away thanks to Roger Goodell and Bill Belichick.

No.... the steelers are just a class act organization and does not want footballs name to be tarnished.... like baseball...... the patriots need to be punished by the league for their actions ever more than what they have been already.

That is ridiculous Brady knew what defensive schemes they were running before the snap of the ball. How does that not give him an advantage? They should strip all the titles away just like they do in the NCAA if there were any unfair practices.

Where did you read this? I'm a Stiller fan, and for the most part, the organization is for fair play. They don't whine as much now that Cowher is gone either.

the steelers are on of the classiest organizations, they are at the top of my list along with the green bay packers. they hold no grudges, they just come to play. great statement by the steelers.

I agree. The Steelers are a class act, and always have been.
