Why haven't the Republicans tried to stop abortion?
Every election they get the Christian vote saying they are against it, every term they refuse to push the issue. Do they think their constituents are stupid enough to keep electing them?
This question is not about how YOU feel about abortion rights. The question involves misleading the Christian voter.

Most people somehow forget,
That it was a Conservative dominated USSC that issed the Roe VS Wade decesion in the first place.
Republican nominated Justices had a 6-3 majority on that USSC.
The vote was 5-4
With 3 republican Justices voting for and 3 against.
With 2 democratic Justices voting for and 1 against
Thats just like, why have the 4 times congress has had universial health care legislation before it and killed it,
There was a democratic majority congress each time.
Truman, Nixon, Carter and Clinton all tried to get universial health care passed with Democratic majority congress's,
And each time, the Democrats killed the bills in committee and refused to allow them to be voted on by the House or Senate.

There's more important things at hand. Plus it's pretty unlikely they are going to completely overturn Roe v Wade. It's pretty much up to the states individually how they want to restrict abortion.
