Do I lose points when my question or answer is removed by the community?
If your question was removed, you will not lose any points. If your answer was removed, you will lose 2 points.
According to the above Advisory we do not lose any points for a question deleted and we only lost 2 points for an answer deleted. But.......
As I observed, we lose10 points for a question deleted and 12 points deducted for an answer that was removed.
Why can't they update this page?
Here's the proof from my Profile Page Activity Details:
* You asked a question -5 points (43 seconds ago) View Question...
* A violation in a question -10 points (14 hours ago) View Question...
* You answered a question 2 points (15 hours ago) View Question...
* You answered a question 2 points (16 hours ago) View Question...
* You answered a question 2 points (16 hours ago) View Question...
* You answered a question 2 points (16 hours ago) View Question...
To Dad: Sometime in January 2008, I won an appeal when 1 of my answer was deleted and the notice was this:
" You have posted content to Yahoo! in violation, etc." which means deleted by Answer's Patrol Team? (as per your opinion) Then why did I won the appeal?
The question that was deleted in my profile is not questionable and needs no appeal because I do consider it as a chat (As I put in the comment that I am expecting it to be reported, so does it happen).
Thanks for being supportive and giving all resources available.

Good Evening, EXO.
This is old news, dear! You don't lose any points for a question deleted by the Community, but you do lose 2 points for an answer. And if you appeal and lose, you lose 10 points.
Now, when someone gets penalized 10 points for a question, it means Customer Care pro-actively removes the question. And if you appeal and lose, you won't get any points deducted afterward. Why? Because Customer Care already judge your violation. That's why you lose 10 points instantly.
Now, if you lose 12 points for an answer, it means Customer Care removes your answer. -2 for answering the question, and -10 for the penalty -- total 12 points deduction. If you appeal and lose, no points are deducted.
How do I know this?
A contact of mine has an unofficial tutorial website about Yahoo! And I also experimented the difference myself.
Also, they're two different types of violation notices. One that say the Community reported your content, and the other says " You have posted content to Yahoo! in violation, etc."

Simply because they have soooo many things to do at the same time, plus their stocks are changing hands, so they have more "important" things to take care.
In 2 words Yahoo is NOT taking care of his own customeres.
