Which do you prefer: the early 80s or the late 80s?
I like the early 80s better because the music was awesome from '81 to '84 (I still love the 80s in general, though). What about you?

i love the 80s over all but ide say the late 80s cuz there was more 80s music, more 80s movies, more 80s everything! ^^

Well I can't really say much , cos I was not around in the early 80's. Altough I do remember songs that are very old and I have no idea how and where I heard them =S weird.
But back to the question xD, as I was born in the late 80's, late 80's music haha

Early 80s definatly!
It was like near the start of the whole New Wave genre. Everybody was new and young and had just started their careers! It was mostly the time of some of THE BEST MUSIC OF ALL TIME!! It was awesome!
Early 80s are more known I think and in my opinion it's the time where the good music ended (late 80s early 90s.)
