The most satanic thing about AC/DC is Angus Young's SG guitar.
Iron Maiden did sing Number Of The Beast and have some harrowing images as their album covers but i wouldn't call them satanic.

OMG your worse than my grandmother Iron maiden are not satanic and neither is AC/DC ( Which does not stand for Anti Christ Devil Children ) and by the way Highway to hell was to describe the hardships of being on tour with 4 other guys going around the world for more than a year oh and dead man fan i don't think Bon Scott wrote it because he thought he was going to hell.

No. Just because a band sings a song or two about hell and Satanism does not necessairly make a band Satanic. Then there is Deicide; all of their songs are Satanic, and the singer bears an upside-down cross branded into his head.
BTW, check out the poster directly above me for a more detailed answer.

No, they are not... neither is that loser Marilyn Manson.
Satanic bands?
Deicide, Vital Remains, Emperor, Mayhem, Burzum, Marduk, Rotting Christ, Impaled Nazarene, Judas Christ, Bathory, Darkthrone, Dissection, Immortal, Akercocke, Gorgoroth, Satyricon, Morbid Angel, etc.
Slayer are not at all Satanic. They write confrontational music to piss people off. In fact, singer Tom Araya is Catholic, and takes his wife and kids to Mass every Sunday.
The whole thing started with Black Sabbath, who were not Satanic... they simpley liked dark imagery.
It was furthered thanks to the likes of Venom, creators of the Black Metal sound. They were Satanic only in a theatrical way, not in real life. They did spawn many imitators, though, who took it to all new levels.
King Diamond and Mercyful Fate sang about it in most songs, but it was nothing more than show... entertainment.
Oh, and Alkaline Trio are members of the Church of Satan (true story... not metal, but still cool)

AC/DC? Iron Maiden?
haha:D no man, they're not.
for "satanic" bands, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth and Emperor popped into my mind.

AC/DC got their name from some kind of electrical devise Something like a sewing machine. you know like an ac or dc adapter sorry for all the people who thought it meant after Christ devil comes. The song Highway to Hell is my all time fave if you listen to it and think about it maybe its the band interpretation of living the rock n roll lifestyle fast and hard.
Marilyn Manson now there's you a devil worshiping freak

Those two bands are the least "satanic" bands out there. ACDC did "highway to hell", which in no way glorifies devil worship or anything satanic and Maiden's only foray into "devil" stuff was "Number of the beast" which was a narrative based on observation which also in no way glorifies anything satanic.
Check out Slayer for what you're looking for...
