laptop with 802.11b/g wireless LAN?

Can this be used with dsl? do I have to add anything to it?

I have DSL at home and need it to connect there mainly.

The sales associate told me all I had to do was plug in the DSL cable, but I can't get it to work.

I did go downtown and the wireless works.

Please advise. Thanks

Update:

SPECIFICALLY, will this work with DSL? Or do I need something so that it will work with DSL?

Should be an ethernet port coming off the back of your laptop(looks like a large phone connection or a USB port 1/8 "

thick x1/2 " wide .Plug either cable coming from your modem box into the back of your laptop and it should work

You will need to run your DSL into a wireless router, then the laptop will be able to connect to it wirelessly.
