Are there any animal shelters in Miami that sell Yorkies, Shih-tzus, and poodles for less than $270.?
The animal must be a maximum of 289 dollars.

If you can get a healthy, Yorkie for less than $1200 I wouldn't be complaining!

If you can't afford to pay a $270 adoption fee, how are you going to be able to pay $1,000 per year on supplies, vet bills, and food for the dog? How are you going to pay vet bills if any emergencies come up (ex. hit by car, broken bone)?
I'm very sorry, but $270 honestly isn't much for a dog. If you don't have the money for that, you won't be able to properly care for a dog. Maybe you could save up for a year or two until you're financially prepared to care for one.

I dunno, why don't you look for one? It's rare to find these breeds in shelters. I'm gonna say this once, even though I'm expecting others to say it as well, any quality dog would be sold off at least $400-600. Hopefully, you have enough money for the dog [vet bills, food, etc] and just don't wanna pay 1000 at a pet shop [shops sell badly-bred dogs anyway].

The Animal?? Hmmm... Most shelters charge less than $270. If you are on such a tight budget when it comes to buying yourself an ' animal ' perhaps you should put this off til you are better able to afford it?

obviously u cant afford a dog because you are putting a maximum on how much you can afford. and calling it "the animal" you obviously arent a dog person. or a pet person for that matter. did u ever consider that dogs cost more than just th adoption fee. did u consider the vet bills, food costs, not to mention the time needed to train the dog? obviously not

Shelters don't sell animals, they adopt them out to responsible people who will provide good homes.
Do an online search for shelters in Miami and another search for breed rescues in your area - there are plenty looking for good homes for their pets.
What they charge is an adoption fee which they use to save other dogs. Their dogs are healthy, spayed and up to date on shots - so it is the best bargain you will ever find.

Sorry Babe, but if you have a $200 limit on the actual dog...you probably can't afford to keep one healthy and happy. It also sounds as though you want a fashion accessory, not a pet. Go buy a handbag, instead.

you can adopt a dog like this sometimes on petfinder.com or 1-800saveapet.com sometimes they have pure breeds and sometimes their mixed. even check out craigslist.com in ur area
