Is it true? if you rub Vicks vapo rub on the soles of your feet you will stop coughing???

My grandmother did this ever time we got a cold. Rub our feet with Vick's and put socks on us and tuck us in bed. I still do this to my family. Vick's Vapo Rub is a miracle in a jar. It is good for all kinds of things. If you have toenail fungus rub on your fungus toes ever other night and you will see good results in a few days continue until fungus is gone.! works better than a RX from the doctor. On your finger nails to make them healthy. I have to cut my nails because they get so long and strong. Rub Vick's on nails 2 times a weeks.Put a little dab around your nose to keep it open and breathing is better.I do this at night,I have asthma and it helps.

Yes, if you rub the Vicks Vaporub on the soles of your feet it will stop coughing as you body gets heated up much quicker, you can also rub it on the palm of your hands.

Put the rub on your chest. The Vapor Rub works when you breath it in, so your feet with socks on will not be the most effective. Drink warm liquids, hot showers and take some vitamins.

I cannot imagine why it would be true unless you're hitting some sort of weirdly placed pressure point in that area that could be related to coughing! I've never heard of it but the Canada Research Council has. They deny ever conducting such a study that allegedly pointed a finger their way.

Hi,At least you will have a nice warm pare of feet.I do not think you will hurt yourself trying it .We use to rub it on our chests to help relieve a chest cold.

I don't know about vapor rub, but if you put some rubbing alcohol on your feet, chest and back, it will help you for sure. You can also try taking some lemon juice with warm honey. Hope this help you.

If you don't believe it, try it. I have put it on the soles of my feet 5 times and it worked every time. Now if it is a placebo and it works, why not use it. Now of ten kids that their parents used it. Now if it don't work tell me. Don't forget the socks?
