my tags were due in jan and i need a smog but dont think it will pass how do i get one of those?
extentions like that number sticker for the following month that you put on your window so you dont get stopped . i heard you can get up to 3 months extention any info would be gladly appriciated.

Go to the DMV. They will give you an extension sticker on the spot. Tell that that you're getting your car worked on to pass SMOG, but don't want to get pulled over while taking it from the mechanics to the testing facility.
You'll have to pre-pay your registration, but you'll get your temporary tags.
Also, to pass your inspection, fill your tank with gas and use a bottle of octane booster... Hope that helps.
