and it was going out so we changed the alternator and the battery light went off .now the battery gage is flickering from high to low and now the check engine light is comming on does anyone know what i could of done wrong to cause that to happen or do you think something else could be going wrong ? i hessitate to take it in cause it will probably cost an arm and leg . tired of getting screwed from car repairmen any advise would be greatly appriciated thanks

if i keep trying eventually it will start then randomly it wont start again we took it in 6 months ago and got all the wiring redone cause it was doing the same thing it runs great but starts when it wants to and once its started it dont go dead someone help i cant afford getting screwed by more shops thanks

took it to pep boy they put it on that diagnostic machine to check it they put altenater ,starter ,you name it 800.00 bucks still doing the same thing every once in a while it will start but will end up leaving us stranded .if we let it sit a few hours it will start again ,we took it back to pep boy 5 times and they dont know what it is refuse to give us money back anyone know what it might be ?
