if your supervisor 's work permit expires can they hold his job for him ? is that legal ?

is he still getting his regular salary pay .?

    I wouldn't think he would be getting his regular salary for not working. Not a wise company decision there at all. It would be up to the company as to whether or not they would hold the job open for the person until he could secure another visa. Don't think it is a matter of it being legal or not.
