Worried about taxes?

Would you rather

Pay half of what you make in taxes while not ever having to worry about health care, public transportation, college/trade schools, or funerals because all of which is free of charge to anyone and everyone.

Or live in a country where 1 in 7 would have no way of paying for any health problems that might occur, where the working man is treated like a commodity, and where the banking system's found a way to scam anyone who needs to keep money in a safe place.

You should know that the IRS doesn't actually have any written law protecting or supporting it. The IRS is merely a modern mafia who has every red cent (usd) under their absolute control.

don't complain about taxes, and don't get excited when you have a big return. That money that you're "getting back" should have gone into something productive, instead it just made a circle through the economy, and when money loops around like that, the capitalist economy comes that much closer to stalling.

I agree 100% with what you say. You are ABSOLUTELY right!

We don't need the IRS, or income taxes, capital gains taxes, estate taxes, or ANY of the dozens of other taxes that did NOT exist 100 years ago, and were just put into place in the last 1/2 century by greedy politicians who just wanted a way to fund their wasteful, frivolous spending.

I read this poem someplace online (its kind of long, but important!) and its shocking in its truth about the United States today:

    Tax his land,

    Tax his bed,

    Tax the table

    At which he's fed.

    Tax his tractor,

    Tax his mule,

    Teach him taxes

    Are the rule.

    Tax his cow,

    Tax his goat,

    Tax his pants,

    Tax his coat.

    Tax his ties,

    Tax his shirt,

    Tax his work,

    Tax his dirt.

    Tax his tobacco,

    Tax his drink,

    Tax him if he

    Tries to think.

    Tax his cigars,

    Tax his beers,

    If he cries, then

    Tax his tears.

    Tax his car,

    Tax his gas,

    Find other ways

    To tax his a*s

    Tax all he has

    Then let him know

    That you won't be done

    Till he has no dough.

    When he screams and hollers,

    Then tax him some more,

    Tax him till

    He's good and sore.

    Then tax his coffin,

    Tax his grave,

    Tax the sod in

    Which he's laid.

    Put these words

    upon his tomb,

    "Taxes drove me

    to my doom..."

    When he's gone,

    Do not relax,

    Its time to apply

    The inheritance tax.

Also, did you all know that the US & LIBYA are the only nations in the world to tax its citizens on WORLDWIDE INCOME??

EVERY other nation taxes on RESIDENCY ONLY, NOT CITIZENSHIP!

If that's not bad enough, the US is SO GREEDY, that they even tax former citizens on WORLDWIDE INCOME for up to TEN YEARS after they are no longer American citizens!

Rather than taxes for everything under the sun & the IRS with their complex, complicated rules, tax codes & forms, I would instead establish ONE FLAT ANNUAL TAX & that would be the ONLY TAX that people would have to pay.

This tax would be based on a person's or corporation's TOTAL NET WORTH & would apply only to people who live/reside in the U.S. regardless of citizenship or immigration status.

In other words, like most other countries in the world, we will only tax on residency, NOT citizenship.

Therefore, American citizen expatriates who live abroad & are often citizens in name only, WILL NOT be forced to pay taxes for services, and programs that they don't or will never use or get the benefits of.

The elderly, the truly disabled (physically or mentally disabled) & those with full-time employment who earn under $50,000 per year will pay ABSOLUTELY NO taxes AT ALL (cuz those with families who are on minimum wage (or just above it) struggle hard enough as it is & need all the breaks that they can get)

The rest of the taxes will be:

    $50,000 - $99,999 will pay 3%

    $100,000 - $249,999 will pay 6%

    $250,000 - $499,999 will pay 12%

    $500,000 - $749,999 will pay 18%

    $750,000 - $999,999 will pay 21%

    $1 MILLION - $2 MILLION will pay 24%

    $2 MILLION - $3 MILLION will pay 27%

    $3 MILLION - $5 MILLION will pay 30%

ABOVE $5 MILLION will pay 36%

Other than this flat annual tax, there will be NO OTHER TAXES WHATSOEVER! NO income taxes, NO estate taxes, no sales taxes, no gas taxes, NOTHING!

Just ONE FLAT ANNUAL TAX FOR EVERYONE! SIMPLE!

Seriously, look below at the number of taxes (I may have forgot some, I hope not!) we all have here today:

    Accounts Receivable Tax

    Building Permit Tax

    Capital Gains Tax

    CDL license Tax

    Cigarette Tax

    Corporate Income Tax

    Dog License Tax

    Federal Income Tax

    Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA)

    Fishing License Tax

    Food License Tax

    Fuel permit tax

Gasoline Tax (42 cents per gallon)

    Hunting License Tax

    Income Tax

    Inheritance Tax

    Interest expense

    Inventory tax

IRS Interest Charges IRS Penalties (tax on top of tax)

    Liquor Tax

    Luxury Taxes

    Marriage License Tax

    Medicare Tax

    Property Tax

    Real Estate Tax

    Service charge taxes

    Social Security Tax

    Road usage taxes

    Sales Tax

    Recreational Vehicle Tax

    School Tax

    State Income Tax

    State Unemployment Tax (SUTA)

    Telephone federal excise tax

Telephone federal universal service fee tax

Telephone federal, state and local surcharge taxes

    Telephone minimum usage surcharge tax

Telephone recurring and non-recurring charges tax

    Telephone state and local tax

    Telephone usage charge tax

    Utility Taxes

    Vehicle License Registration Tax

    Vehicle Sales Tax

    Watercraft registration Tax

    Well Permit Tax

    Workers Compensation Tax

Not a SINGLE ONE of these taxes existed 100 years ago,

& yet we were one of the most successful nations in the world.

We had absolutely no national debt, the largest middle class anywhere in the world & Mom was able to stay home to raise the kids. As a result, kids got the needed attention from both their parents (because Dad & Mom did NOT have to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet) & they weren't out joining gangs, getting pregnant & shooting up their schools.

This country was so prosperous, it was the ideal destination for the waves of immigrants who wanted "a better life". It was the dream of everyone to live here in America - NOT ANY MORE!!

Now, America is considered one of the WORST places to live, both here & abroad & that there are FAR better places to settle.

Even in a country as rich as the US, due to frivolous & sheer wasteful spending by greedy politicians, Americans are in worse shape than most people in the world (with the exception of African countries)

Despite the BILLIONS of dollars that the US government siphons from its citizens worldwide, we still don't have national health insurance coverage which leaves MILLIONS of the working poor uninsured & completely vulnerable to entire ruin if a medical crisis strikes.

There are SO many other countries which don't tax in so many ways & so high of amounts & yet they can provide health insurance & other programs to their citizens.

America used to be the dream land. Now Canada, UK & elsewhere, even supposed "Third World" countries like Panama & Belize are better places to live than the US.

The fraud is in the bureaucracy. Lets vote the liberals, socialist and Obama supporters out in 2010. This is what I mean. Once upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert. Congress said, "Someone may steal from it at night." So they created a night watchman position and hired a person for the job. Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his job without instruction?" So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions, and one person to do time studies. Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?" So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people. One to do the studies and one to write the reports. Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?" So They created the following positions, a time keeper, and a payroll officer, Then hired two people. Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?" So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary. Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one Year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost." So they laid off the night watchman. NOW slowly, let it sink in. Quietly, we go like sheep to slaughter. Does anybody remember the reason given for the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY .... During the Carter Administration? Anybody? Anything? No? Didn't think so! Bottom line. We've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency ... the reason for which not one person who reads this can remember! Ready?? It was very simple ... and at the time, everybody thought it very appropriate. The Department of Energy was instituted on 8-04-1977. TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL. Hey, pretty efficient, huh??? AND NOW, IT'S 2009 -- 32 YEARS LATER -- AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS "NECESSARY" DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR. THEY HAVE 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES; AND LOOK AT THE JOB THEY HAVE DONE! THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY, "WHAT WAS I THINKING?" Ah, yes -- good ole bureaucracy. AND, NOW, WE ARE GOING TO TURN THE BANKING SYSTEM, HEALTH CARE AND THE AUTO INDUSTRY OVER TO THE SAME GOVERNMENT?

I'll take the second choice. In that land, I get to make my own decisions about my life. I won't have a "Nanny Government" trying to tell me what to do and when to do it. I would actually be able to afford better health care if I didn't have to pay all that tax money to support a bunch of welfare cheats.

Was it Walden, who refused to pay tax and courted arrest, instead? In the modern times, it is unavoidable. It is said to be a patriotic act to pay taxes religiously. Why take risk with law? Pay it up.

The IRS not only has laws to abide by they also have extensive Rules and Regulations to guide them in carrying out the laws Congress has passed and the President has signed into law.

I have a problem with depending on the government, with more dependency on it, the more personal rights I lose.
