I tried to find a descriptive way to write how your pusle pounds when you come out of an intense dream. I couldn't find anything that seemed right.

This is cool. It sounds a little random, the first round...but, as you slowly sip away, the true flavors comes through

I like it! Good title too, as well as the last line. If you allow me, I am less convinced by "Blood surges forward...", which I find a bit clichéd.
